Rising Maryland emcee Paris Price breaks onto the New Sick Music pages with some killer visuals for his latest single, “Killing Me Slowly”.
With addictive production and melodic vocals, the Chris Patrick and Dende-assisted “Killing Me Slowly” is gearing up to be one of the songs of the summer. And in his newly released video, Paris brings the track to life with an all-too-familiar scenario for anyone who’s had their heart broken repeatedly by the same person.
As Price explains, he was inspired to write “Killing Me Slowly” while thinking about a past relationship and how much the related stress can begin to weigh you down if you don’t address it. He adds that it’s only natural for people to go back to trauma—like ex-significant others—because it’s familiar. “But it can ‘kill you slowly,’ because it’s hindering your progression and growth,” Price says.
