Do you ever wish you could just disappear into a world where anything could happen?

Secret Social Club bring their name to life — or rather, out of life — in the clip for their song “Gravity”. Bringing the energy of Imagine Dragons and adding an extra punchiness, the Southern California band launch off with the kick-drum and find melody amongst reverberation.

“I want a life less heavy,” frontman Wade Fitzgerald announces. “I want to sit on the moon.” This ambition is clear in the grandness of the song and the mischievousness of the accompanying video.

The clip follows Fitzgerald as he tries to return a phone to a mysterious woman, leading him on a journey to a world unlike our own. This world is all comic-book madness and marvellous colours. Here, music doesn’t just lift you up, it transports you to another reality.

That is, if it isn’t all a dream.

To hear more from Secret Social Club, you can find them on their website, and track their music on Spotify as we await more music and news.
